Scope: ambulance, anesthesiology and resuscitation, cardiovascular surgery, emergency medical services.
Purpose: closed-chest cardiac massage as part of cardiopulmonary resuscitation activities.
Intended user: healthcare personnel trained to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Conditions of use: providing medical aid at the incident scene, during medical evacuation, in healthcare institutions.
Indications: a state of clinical death and/or circulatory arrest determined by a healthcare professional, when closed-chest cardiac massage may be used as part of resuscitation activities.
Contraindications: inability to position the machine on the patient's chest properly; too small (chest height less than 170 mm) or too big patient (chest height over 305 mm, chest width over 450 mm).
Patients: the machine is intended for adults and children with the following chest dimensions in recumbent position:
- chest height – 170 mm to 305 mm;
- chest width – not more than 450 mm.
Design description: the machine consists of an functional unit equipped with a piston with a disposable vacuum cup, and a support plate.
A control and indication panel is located on the front of the functional block. The functional unit side posts are fixed to the support plate placed under the patient’s chest forming a rigid closed structure.
The functional unit is equipped with a backlight in the form of a positioning line for the machine quick position on the patient’s chest and control its proper position during CPR.
The machine can operate autonomously from a set of two rechargeable batteries or one battery installed in the side posts, with the provision of hot swapping one of them, as well as from an external AC network via a power adapter.
In order to ensure convenience when transporting a patient, the machine (if required) can be equipped with hand fixing straps on the side post outer surfaces and a stabilizing strap.
During operational transportation, the machine can be placed in a backpack with a detachable compartment for storing electrical components, or carried using a carrying strap (supplied upon request).
Registration certificate No. RZN 2024/24065 dated 27.01.2025.
